So Much To Be Thankful For…

Here at Craft, we have so many things to be thankful for, and we’d like to take some time this month
to recognize not just our amazing projects, but the people who truly make it all possible…OUR CREW!
We feel enormous gratitude for our amazing and hard-working team, without whom none of this would be possible. We are so appreciative of their skilled craftsmanship and the great attitude that they bring with them each day. While no project is without it’s hiccups, we work together to take it all in stride and find creative solutions to any problem we face. It feels good to know that we share the same commitment to quality.

We saw some really amazing progress on our “Mermaid House” in November, and are absolutely thrilled with how drop-dead gorgeous this house is turning out!  We have so many things to be thankful for here at Craft and want to take some time to share the many blessings we saw on this project in November…

First, we are thankful for the completion of the drywall mudding and taping. This is one of the many “little things” that come before the “fun stuff”, and as usual, our crew did an amazing job. This crew takes such care to ensure quality in their work and we have to acknowledge that this really is an art!

Second, we are thankful for the custom details that will really make this house a home. The custom shelving in the master closet and the mudroom locker station will certainly be appreciated by this home’s future owners!

Third, we are so thrilled with all of the gorgeous tile we were able to source for this house! It’s really going to be quite a sight to see once it’s all installed. For now, we are thankful for the attention to detail that went into the accurate measuring and leveling to make the master shower and tub splash wall a successful project!  Eternally grateful to have a team that goes the extra mile, caring about quality work and a job well done!

Last, but certainly not least, we are thankful for how beautifully the exterior of 34th Place is shaping up! This month we saw the first and second coat of stucco go on, along with the board and batten. Our third exterior element of brick was completed, the roof has been shingled, and our garage doors were also installed! Just take a look at that!

UP NEXT:

The tile crew will finish up, hardwood floors will be going in, with a cabinet delivery expected soon as well!  In the meantime, all finishes, lighting, and hardware orders will be placed. On the exterior, the pool will be getting some attention with its next steps, as well as addressing the landscaping plan and back block wall.

Our project on 34th Street saw a great deal of progress this month. We tiled our hearts out, spent days and days laying hardwood flooring, and painted the exterior a beautiful creamy white. This beauty is shaping up nicely and will really pop once we paint the front door and French parlor doors black, and complete the pavers and landscaping. The best is certainly yet to come, but let’s take some time to appreciate all of the progress we saw in November…

First, we’re so happy to share a special welcoming as you come through the front door of this stunning home. They say first impressions are everything, and the slate floor in the entry is the perfect way to begin exploring of all the amazing design details to be found throughout the interior of this house!

Second, Hardwood Floors! We are completely in love with the warmth of the “California Sand” hardwood floors. Though it’s still a bit dusty, you can clearly see that these floors are gorgeous. The stairs are next and we can’t wait to see what it looks like complete!

Third, cabinet installation! After much anticipation, we finally got to see our beautiful Shinnoki Desert Oak cabinets as they started to be laid out. We are thrilled with how they look – even with the protective film still on! We can’t wait to see the uppers when they go in!

Fourth, presence! We are so thankful to be on this amazing journey. Although cleanup is one of the less-than-glamorous parts of our projects, it’s all worth it to see a plan to turn into a beautiful home!

UP NEXT…

  • Cabinet layout and install
  • Countertops
  • Baseboards
  • Interior paint
  • Installation of plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, hardware, mirrors, etc.
  • Fence removal and final yard cleanup the fence
  • Leveling the yard to prep for pavers and landscaping

It’s wrapping up and we are excited to show this beauty off!
