September was quite a productive month for 34th Place. The framing process moved along quickly, and work on exterior sheathing was initiated and completed early in September. Installation of windows, dormers, and brows has given us our first real look at this HOUSE taking shape! The fascia trim has also been painted to protect the wood. We are overjoyed at the progress on this property, and to see our “Mermaid House” transforming into a truly beautiful home!
Our secret to building high-quality homes rests in our attention to all the “little” details…
Our hardworking crews completed the plumbing rough in, electrical, HVAC, and windows. We especially love the HUGE slider! The fireplace was also installed, along with framing for the adjacent bench and shelving.
A “sizzle feature” we are adding to this home, to go along with its expansive master bath and closet, is undermount lighting in the shampoo niche. So fancy, and will look gorgeous once complete!
It’s important to add those little “extras” that really up the interest and character of a home. We just love the the brows built over the garage and front room window. They really transform the face of the home into something extra special.

The “School House” is almost ready for reading and writing… Okay, not really, but it was ready for insulation and drywall! September was an extremely productive month for this project. The exterior was prepped for stucco, board and batten, as well as stone/brick. Inside the home, we saw a total transformation as foam insulation was completed and drywall hung. Outside, the face really took shape with the installation of the exterior and garage doors!
We use foam insulation, as it is the superior option, and ensures a quality build! Check out the coverage!
We absolutely love seeing the house coming together, and it’s always amazing to see the transformation that takes place once the walls are up! Look at the difference…
Doors, Doors, Doors!
Exterior doors are hung and we are so in love with the beautiful front door!
As September came to a close, we saw the first coat of stucco go on, brows built out over the window and garage, garage door installed and board and batten go up! We really like to bring three different texture elements into the design for the exterior to allow for amazing curb appeal and a custom look. Can’t wait to see what it looks like with the stone and brick installed!
